Elder Care and Nursing Home Abuse

No one is more deserving of our loving care than the Elderly - the generations who raised us and made our country what it is, today. Yet few are more likely to be abused or neglected than our Senior Citizens. Often living in Long-Term Care facilities or Nursing Homes, many seniors suffer from complications of aging or previous injury, and some don't have constant supervision by family members.

Some of the signs of Elder Abuse are:

• Sexual Abuse (May include inadequate clothing, fondling and undue touching, verbal assault, etc.)
• Financial Exploitation (May include identity theft, use of the resident's funds or bank accounts, selling unneeded services, etc.)
• Healthcare Fraud or Healthcare Abuse (Overcharging for or not providing Healthcare, over-medicating, kick-backs or fee-splitting)
